Have you ever been in such a rush to leave the house that you forgot something?
I did. This morning.
After gathering my stuff to leave – purse, laptop case, bottle of water, and other miscellany – Robert helped carry stuff to the pickup. Being a bit late, I was very anxious to get in and get going.
That’s when he said:
But wait – there’s more!
And you know what he did?
He gave me a kiss.
Now that was a lovely bit of “more“! 🙂
What a sweet husband you have. It’s great to have more.
Robert IS wonderful, Bonnie! (can’t get enough kisses!) 🙂
Oh, that’s so amazing and precious and romantic! It’s also a powerful point about what we can miss when we’re too busy and when our priorities get out of order. I know this in a very real way in my life, so thanks for sharing this very important message.
Busy-ness is good as long as nothing gets missed… Like you said – it’s keeping the priorities in order that matters! Happy you dropped by, Leanne.
How sweet! I’d say that’s better than a box of chocolates!! 🙂
You betcha – we’ve been “practicing” kissing more… it’s been fun! (and non-fattening) 😉
You know what I did last night!!! My husband came home and I’m finishing dinner at the stove. He came over and leaned in to kiss me hello and I turned my cheek to him. Lame!!! I think today when he comes home and kisses me I will turn towards him and give him the whole thing, let him know I love and appreciate him!!
Great idea, Cara!
(ah, he’s gonna love it!)
Loved this! How sweet! Thanks so much for linking up to Love One Another! I look forward to exploring your blog!
Thanks, Mary. It’s fun being a part of such a creative and loving group of ladies all honoring love!
So happy you dropped by!
