Where do you drop your burdens?

I’ve been thinking some heavy thoughts lately. 

It’s about stuff I have no control over and can’t influence.  Things that Robert – no matter how much he wants to – can’t fix.  When he asks me what he can do to help, I have to answer – just pray.

So he does.

Sometimes the biggest gift our spouse can give us is to lead us to the One who accepts all our burdens.

 

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Philippians 4:6
