What symbolizes hope for you? Is there something that you can visualize to represent hope in your mind?
I found an idea that represents the hope from encouragement – it’s from a quote …
Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud. ~ Maya Angelou
What a lovely quote, huh?
Rainbows stop me in my tracks – they make me pull over to the side of the road if I’m driving. There’s just something so hopeful about a rainbow.
I think encouragement can be like a rainbow – it’s often unexpected, yet can bring a zing of joy into an otherwise gloomy atmosphere.
Take a moment to be your wife or husband’s encourager – be their rainbow!

I found you through the blog challenge, and I could not be more pleased. I wish I would have found you long ago. I really need to work on this aspect of my marriage.
Happy to find you too, Melissa! (thanks for dropping by and commenting)
Whenever I talk to couples married a long time, they always have stories about how they’ve encouraged each other – and how that encouragement has made a difference in their life together.
I love your simple, direct encouragement. Looking forward to it all month long. Thank you.
I am so blessed to have you as my rainbow!
