One of my favorite Encouragement words is – Inspire.
What does it mean?
to produce…
or arouse…
or animate…
or quicken…
or influence…
a Feeling or Action
What is the result of inspiring your spouse?
The affect of inspiration ripples outward.
When feeling inspired, we look forward.
When taking action from inspiration, we move toward what ‘could be’…
Inspiration is future focused.
Even at the worst moment – when Adam & Eve were separated from God – there was a reason for all of us to look forward with inspiration. God spoke to the serpent and gave a promise for all mankind that a Savior would come.
What could you focus on – to inspire – your spouse?
Pay attention to what makes your love smile. Focus on that – replicate it.
Pay attention to who lifts the spirits of your spouse. Arrange for your love to spend time with that person.
Pay attention to when your love talks about their ideas for the future. How can you contribute?
Surround your love with images, words, music and people who inspire. It’s an action you can take to encourage your spouse!
