Foster with Love
Cherish is such an old-fashioned word. As a word, it has a tender and delicate feel – not quite up to this century’s raucous and harried pace.

Think of the dedication and attention to detail it would take to make your spouse feel cherished. And yet, if your spouse – your love -felt cherished, how significant and unique it would make him or her feel.
Giving Care. Care Giving. = Growth. When we want something to grow, what do we do? We nurture it, give it our attention and the all resources it needs to develop.
Growing the love in our marriages takes
patience,
and resources.
It takes attention.
It takes a willingness to sacrifice.
Care giving = nurturing.
Giving care = sacrifice.
How do you foster your love for your spouse?

There are so many ways to foster marriage, but I have to make sure I take the time to search out those ways (and then do them!) each day.
Thanks for this post!

Yup – you’re right on. It takes time!
Thanks for this site. It is great information that I plan to put to good use. I also love that fact that your out of Raleigh. I’m originally from Durham. It’s good to see that God is using good old Carolina folks to do great things!
Thank you for dropping in and commenting! I’m thankful and humbled that God is using me…
Lori !! You always give me so much to think about, thank you for that!
You sent me on a search … when you said, “cherish is such an old fashioned word.” I agree, so I clicked on my trusty ‘word hippo’ to see what I could see. The word I found that suits me is, ‘prize.’
I will prize my man more! In keeping with your theme, I will prize him in ways that are especially unique to him!
